Turn off AutoComplete
Have you noticed that when you begin typing something e.g. web site url, email address, etc, you are offered a drop-down that shows items you've typed before. It happens because of feature called AutoComplete. AutoComplete stores words you've previously typed into forms and displays them in a drop-down box.

AutoComplete feature remembers web addresses you have typed, form information, logins and passwords you entered in web pages. AutoComplete is useful feature in many situations as can save you typing, especially if you frequently visit the same site or reenter the same information in forms but it is also a huge security concern as if someone else uses your PC with the same account, they may be able to see which websites you visit or get access to your username and password information. So in many situations to prevent your browser from automatically completing forms, such as filling in names, e-mail addresses, passwords, credit card information, etc that you have entered previously on a web page, you should turn off AutoComplete

How to turn off AutoComplete in Internet Explorer
To turn off AutoComplete (turn off form AutoComplete, password AutoComplete) in Internet Explorer 7.0:
Select "Tools"
Select "Internet Options".
Open the "Content" tab.
Under AutoComplete, click "Settings" button.
In "AutoComplete Settings" window select what information your browser will remember - remove check marks from AutoComplete options you don't need (Web Address, Foms, User names and passwords on forms).
Click OK.
To turn off AutoComplete (turn off form AutoComplete/disable password AutoComplete) in Internet Explorer 6.x:
Select "Tools"
Select "Internet Options".
Open the "Content" tab.
Click the "AutoComplete" button
Remove check marks from the necessary check boxes.
Click OK.

How to turn off AutoComplete settings (turn off Form AutoComplete) in Firefox
Select "Tools" then "Internet Options".
Select the "Privacy" tab.
Open "Save form information" category.
Remove the check mark from the "Save information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar".
Click OK.
How to turn off AutoComplete settings in Mozilla
To turn off AutoComplete in Mozilla:
Select "Edit"
Select "Preferences".
Under "Privacy & Security" category, select Forms.
Put check mark for "Save form data from web pages when completing forms"
