 Autocomplete history (Saved form data)
AutoComplete is a feature that stores a list of everything you type in web pages (for example your name, e-mail address, credit card information, keywords you enter in search engines, etc). AutoComplete helps you complete forms by suggesting possible matches - you can simply press the down arrow key and select the text without finishing typing.
While AutoComplete feature may be helpful for some things, it can also seriously compromise your security and privacy, as anyone who has access to your computer can see what web sites you visited and what information you entered on web pages. Also various malicious software can use AutoComplete data to steal your personal information such as your name, e-mail address, credit card information and/or retrieve web sites passwords stored as autocomplete data.

 Search history
Your browser records every search string you enter in search engine (Google, Yahoo, MSN). AutoComplete stores a list of everything you search while surfing the Internet and helps you complete search boxes by suggesting possible search matches. It can also seriously compromise your privacy, as anyone who has access to your computer can see what you searched on the Internet - you search history.

 Index.dat files (in Internet Explorer)
Internet history is more than just a list of visited web sites. Computer stores multiple records of your Internet history that can't be easily deleted. There are three index.dat files used by Internet Explorer - history index.dat file, cookies index.dat file, cache index.dat file. Index.dat files are used by Internet Explorer to store Internet history, cache, cookies and other information about your Internet activity.
Although index.dat files are useful, they can compromise your privacy as any person who has some knowledge about index.dat files and has access to your computer can see the history of your Internet activities. Index.dat files are system files and they can't be deleted manually as they are used by Windows all the time (index.dat files are locked by Windows). Their content is not deleted even if you clear browser history, cache and cookies. Using Clear All History you can easily delete index.dat files content or delete index.dat files.

 Internet Cache
Internet Cache (also known as Temporary Internet Files) is a file that stores information from web pages that I often visit. This means every image, animation, link and sound from all the websites I've visited is stored on your PC. Essentially anyone looking at my cache would be able to see everything that I saw the last time I was on the Internet.
Cache is a place to store recently accessed data such as pictures, text, online videos and other bits and pieces. Having cache makes surfing the Internet quicker and more convenient for you because these stored pieces allow your favorite websites to load faster. But think about cache from another point of view.

 Internet Cookies
Cookies are little files that websites write and store on your computer. Every time you visit a certain website, it will look for its cookie on your hard drive. It uses the information stored within the cookie to know your name, your shopping preferences and other information about you. From the above example, it's easy to see why cookies can also be a problem; anyone who looks at this folder can see exactly where you've been.
