AutoComplete feature remembers web addresses you have typed, form information, logins and passwords you entered in web pages. AutoComplete is useful feature in many situations but it is also a huge security concern as anyone who can access your computer is able to access your personal sites and information. How to disable AutoComplete in Internet Explorer
To disable AutoComplete (disable form AutoComplete, password AutoComplete) in Internet Explorer 7.0:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "Content" tab.
• Under AutoComplete, click "Settings" button.
• In "AutoComplete Settings" window select what information your browser will remember - remove check marks from AutoComplete options you don't need (Web Address, Foms, User names and passwords on forms).
Web addresses - stores URLs that you type and automatically tries to complete them the next time so you don't have to type the whole thing each time.
Forms stores data you enter filling forms to try to help populate form fields so you don't have to re-type the same information every time
